Relaxation and creativity – a session for your wellbeing

Monday 19 August at 4pm

We are delighted to invite you to a follow-up session to our relaxation and creativity workshop we held in May. Continuing with our summer theme, we are pleased to welcome back Indu Khurana, a psychotherapist and coach. Indu will be guiding us through a series of creative activities inspired by the vibrant season of summer.

Join us for a chance to enhance your creativity, relaxation and overall well-being. Whether you participated in the previous session or are joining for the first time, this workshop is designed to provide valuable insights and enjoyable activities for everyone.

The wellbeing session will focus on three separate exercises

  • a relaxation/meditation accompanied with music
  • a picture drawing exercise
  • and a ‘draw what you see’ exercise

Engaging in creative activities has been widely shown to enhance mental health. This creativity session helps relax your mind, which in turn relaxes your body. The exercises taught in this session are simple enough to recreate at home, allowing you to experience their benefits both in the workshop and on your own whenever you wish.

The session will be a mix of meditation and a selection of creative exercises designed to bring your inner imagination to the foreground. You will get an opportunity to discuss your creations with other group members. Indu says that attendees can expect to experience a sense of tranquillity, fun and creative expression in this interactive session.

This session is ideal for those seeking relaxation, creative exploration, self-expression and a break from daily stressors.
