Many people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) find online communities helpful. As more and more people look at ways to self-manage the condition, digital forums and groups can be a great way of connecting with other people, reading real people’s experiences and finding out what works well for other people.

This Facebook page describes itself as for people directly affected by MS who are of South Asian origin and also for friends/family/colleagues of people with a diagnosis of MS.

Carers UK

This is an online forum for anyone with caring responsibilities, to connect with other Carers.

Dorset MS Support

This is a private, closed Facebook group run for anyone living in, or receiving treatment in, Dorset. The group is run by the team behind the public page Hamshire MS Support.

Hampshire MS Support

This is a private, closed Facebook group run for anyone living in, or receiving treatment in, Hampshire. The group is run by the team behind the public page Hamshire MS Support.

Kurmudgeons’ Korner

Kurmudgeons’ Korner is a forum for people who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, run by people with a diagnosis of MS.

Ladies with Lesions

This is a private group on Facebook for women affected by MS. It’s aim is to be supportive, positive and fun.

MS Let’s Chat

MS Let’s Chat was started for Msers and their friends and families to chat over zoom during lockdown. This is the link to the private Facebook group.

MS News Today

The MS News Today Forums are designed for MS patients, caregivers and medical professionals to connect, ask questions and share experiences. This is a public forum.

This forum is run by MS People UK, a community website by and for people with MS.
