Improve wellbeing with relaxation and creativity

Wednesday 15 May 2pm

Join us for this transformative session during Mental Health Awareness Week 2024, aimed at cultivating relaxation and creativity. This session led by Indu Khurana, a psychotherapist and coach, will include a range of creative activities themed around the approaching season of summer.

There is a lot of evidence that doing something creative helps to improve your mental health. This session in creativity helps to relax your mind, which in turn helps to relax your body. The exercises you learn to do in this course are easy enough for you to recreate at home – so not only do you experience their power in the workshop, but you also get tools to take away and use whenever you want.

There will be a mix of meditation and a couple of exercises designed to bring your inner creative to the foreground. You will get an opportunity to discuss your creative creations with other group members. Indu says that attendees can expect to experience a sense of tranquillity, fun and creative expression in this interactive session.

This session is ideal for those seeking relaxation, creative exploration, self-expression and a break from daily stressors.
