This session is designed specifically for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), as well as those who support them. Led by Alan Pearson, a Level 4 exercise coach for long-term neurological conditions, it offers a safe, structured and supportive 60-minute strength training programme that can be tailored to individual needs.

Participants are guided through a progressive series of exercise positions, including seated, standing, and optional floor-based movements, with every exercise fully adaptable to suit different abilities, comfort levels, and energy availability.

The session begins with a welcome and brief assessment, including a fatigue check-in, Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE) baseline, and safety guidance. This is followed by a gentle seated warm-up to support mobility, circulation, and postural activation.

The main strength component then progresses into supported seated exercises, functional standing patterns to improve balance and gait, and optional floor-based work focused on core stability and hip strength. The session concludes with a cool-down, breathing exercises, and an opportunity for questions and answers.

Key elements of the session include
