Join us for a free, special online qigong taster session designed to support people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice, developed to enhance health and wellbeing through focused movement and breath. With both physical and meditative components, qigong places a strong emphasis on slow, flowing movements, breathwork, and relaxation, making it an excellent practice for improving balance, mobility, and energy levels while reducing stress.

Regular practice of qigong may help you

  • Move mindfully and with more ease
  • Feel more energised
  • Use your mind to overcome negative thoughts
  • Improve balance and coordination

Qigong is similar, but distinct from traditional Hatha Yoga. While yoga has its origins in India, qigong comes from China and is deeply connected to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Today, it is practiced worldwide, offering a gentle, accessible approach to movement and well-being that is suitable for all abilities. It’s slow, methodical and its connection to nature makes it enjoyable and beneficial for many.

This session will be entirely seated, though standing options will be available for those who prefer. Each session includes an opportunity to connect with others, followed by a guided practice incorporating

  • Gentle warm-ups
  • Flowing qigong movements
  • Breathwork techniques
  • Relaxation practices

Led by our experienced instructor, Tracy Harris, this 40 minute session offers a calm and supportive space to experience the benefits of qigong. If you can’t join live a recording will be available shortly afterwards.

Come and explore qigong in a friendly, accessible setting, no prior experience needed!
