New ad campaign raises awareness of MS

Public awareness of multiple sclerosis (MS) is set for a boost this week thanks to a new campaign from the MS Society.

A television advert starring people living with the condition aired last night with the message that in the next ten years, the society aims to raise £100 million to stop MS.

Featuring MSers singing along to Fleetwood Mac’s Don’t Stop, the advert will be shown on Chanel 4, Dave, Drama and 4Seven. There will be further adverts appearing in newspapers, billboards and online.

“At MS-UK, we are pleased to see awareness of multiple sclerosis being raised in this way, by putting it on prime-time television,” says Amy Woolf, CEO of MS-UK. “We wish the MS Society success in their new fundraising appeal and hope that this campaign encourages the public to get behind charities and support people affected by multiple sclerosis.”
