Hi, my name is Louise and I live in Suffolk. I was diagnosed with MS five years ago. I was able to continue to work full-time as a teacher for a couple of years before reducing my hours until I retired in 2019. Despite struggling with mobility, I enjoy gardening, bee and poultry keeping, watching wildlife, looking after my grandchildren, music and church. As is usual with the condition, I have good days and then times when I can barely move or think clearly. I joined the MS-UK exercise classes last October and have found them immensely beneficial and enjoyable. I am so grateful for the time, commitment and friendliness given by the staff at MS-UK, together with the camaraderie of participants, that I would like to make a contribution to the work of MS-UK by offering to host a Peer Group in which people can chat about the interests stated or just chat!
