Some of you may remember being a part of the computer gaming study that took place in Josephs Court in 2016. The University of Essex are now looking for help from our clients once more to aid the next phase of their research.
There is growing evidence that the use of exergames (using your body to control a computer game) can produce a beneficial effect on balance for people who fall regularly in general. Specifically designed exergames for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) provide a rehabilitative tool with the potential to aid compliance and continuity in training, be convenient for the participants, be less fatiguing than traditional falls prevention training, and be enjoyable!
To express an interest please contact Chris Cooper via email or send a text to 07739 033378.
