Join our board

We are recruiting two or three new members to join our board of trustees. MS-UK is a small national charity supporting people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) to live happier, healthier lives. We are particularly keen to hear from people with experience in the following areas to supplement our combined skill set

  • Health/ holistic healthcare
  • Legal
  • Fundraising
  • Hands on social media implementation and optimisation
  • Data strategy and technology

However, we would happily accept applications from people with other skills who have a passion for supporting our community. A personal connection to multiple sclerosis is desirable, however more importantly, a connection to our vision, mission and values is crucial.

Our trustees work together to set the direction of the charity and ensure it is well managed. By joining the board, you too will be instrumental in the success of the charity and help make a real difference to the lives of people affected by MS. As well as reading our recruitment pack, you can also find out more about the role of a trustee on the Charity Commission website.

MS-UK is committed to being an equal, diverse and inclusive charity accessible for all. The aim is for our workforce, including our board of trustees, to be truly representative of all sections of society and our stakeholders, and for everyone to feel respected and able to give their best. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and communities.
