This is an introduction session to our new nutrition course, designed to welcome participants and provide an overview of what to expect over six weeks. The programme aims to support people with MS in building sustainable, enjoyable dietary habits that promote overall health, improve MS symptom management, and enhance quality of life.
Grounded in the latest evidence around nutrition and neurological health, the course focuses on nourishing the body to support energy, weight management, gut health, metabolic health, bone health, reproductive health, and long-term physical and mental wellbeing.
Through education, practical skills, and group support, participants are encouraged to make food choices that support their health both now and in the future.
A short presentation on key nutrition themes relevant to MS and overall health.
Addressing participants’ pre-submitted questions and individual considerations.
Focus on a particular food group and its health benefits.
Tips on food choices, cooking methods, and everyday implementation.
Introduction to a small, achievable task and supporting recipes to practice at home.
