Nearly three-quarters of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) experience spasticity and over half experience chronic pain. These debilitating symptoms can severely impact daily life and overall wellbeing. However, both have symptoms have been shown to have positive responses to cannabis-based treatments.
So, for our next information session, MS-UK is excited to announce our collaboration with Releaf, the UK’s leading all-in-one medical cannabis service, to provide safe and legal access to cannabis-based options.
Join us for our information session on Wednesday the 21 August at 2pm, with Dr David Tang, Clinical Director of Releaf and Graham Woodward, Releaf’s Chief Operating Officer and Specialist Adviser to the CQC, to find out more.
In the session we will hear from the Releaf team, sharing the remarkable success they have seen in treating individuals with MS-related symptoms including severe muscle spasms, joint pain and poor sleep. We will also discover how they safely and seamlessly, incorporate medical cannabis into MS treatment plans.
You can find more information on this topic of cannabis by viewing our Choices booklet, Cannabis and MS. The booklet provides an introduction to cannabis including its use and research behind its benefits, plus the products that are available.
