What is a Gold Bond place?

A Gold Bond place in the Virgin Money London Marathon is a guaranteed entry to the race, even after the public ballot closes. Charities like us have a number of Gold Bond places that we can offer to dedicated runners who want to support our work. These are highly prized, as it means you will definitely be running in the next Virgin Money London Marathon, even if there are no more public places left!

The terms and conditions are all at the bottom of the form, but just to remind you that accepting a Gold Bond place is a commitment to raise at least £2,000.

Note – this is an application form only and does not guarantee you a place.

If you would like this form in an alternative format please call the fundraising team on 01206 226500 or email

Please include as much relevant information as possible and you will be contacted by the fundraising team if your application is successful.
